Tanzania – Africa a Wild Dream

tanzania

We can think only of the landscapes in Tanzania, from the high peaks of Kilimanjaro covered by snow, to the coral beaches of Zanzibar. Then we can consider them from the savanna grass to the sharp rocks of the Rift Valley, from the heaven of the Ngorongoro crater to the sanctuary from Lake Manyara, and strongly believe that all these are great art works of nature and we can say that they make you fall for Africa at first sight.

No matter what method you choose for visiting, Tanzania is a unique experience, where the changing view of the natural sanctuaries and the wildlife will not cease to fascinate you, every time you get there. The exotic beaches of Tanzania, including here the coasts with white sand of Zanzibar, offer as much relaxation as adventure and exaltation, together with the safari from the savanna. Safari in swahili language simply means “journey”, but in English it has become a synonym for the adventure of knowing the wildlife from Africa.

“To go safari” is and will always remain a fascinating experience. Tourism has developed explosively in the last years in Tanzania, almost one quarter of the country was ceded to national parks, and hunting sanctuaries and the natives ensure that nature and wildlife remain unchanged, as they are for millions of years.

To these add the white and splendid beaches of Zanzibar and the lodge sites and resorts with impeccable services, experienced and trained guides and you will have the image of a dream vacation.

Kilimanjaro National Park is situated near the Moshi town in north of Tanzania. The Kilimanjaro Mountain rises above the arid plains culminating at the height of 5895 m (Kibo Peak). Ascent on Kilimanjaro can be done on six routes, the easiest and most popular being the Marangu route (there are alpine chalets on the route).

The Tarangire National Park is located near Arusha in north of Tanzania, and it stretches an area of 2850 square km along the Tarangire River. It is one of the least visited parks in Africa and that is why it preserves a unique air, of still undiscovered land. It offers wonderful landscapes with monkey bread and acacia forests and it is famous for impressive population of elephants and felines, but you can see zebra too, or gnu antelopes, wild pigs and many species of birds.

The Lake Manyara sanctuary – its name comes from the masaai dialect and names a species of euphorbia. It has an area of 325 square km, of which 231 square km are occupied by the Manyara Lake, and the rest, for the most part, by the flooded plains, forests of fig, acacia and mahogany. The attraction of the park is represented by the rambler lions. Here can be also found baboons and herbivores: hippos, elephants, giraffes, gnu antelopes, impala, wild pigs, and an impressive collection of over 300 species of migratory birds: flamingo, storks, and pelicans. It is an amazing world, which is worth look for discount tickets and visit it.
