A continental train does not have delay; they offer the possibility to choose coaches based on personal needs (sleeping, restaurant, business class, etc.). A trip by train can be an interesting way of team building, or even organizing a meeting with employees.

A trip by train offers more comfort and relaxation at the same time. Another advantage is that departures and arrivals of a train are not so much influenced by the weather, the problem of delays being eliminated. King Carol, Liza Minelli, or mysterious killers are standard versions of passengers in a train like the Orient Express. Today, everyone affords to take out of pocket thousands of dollars to become the distinguished passenger of one of the oldest train in the world. Combining the scenes of the past centuries with the third millennium technology, some trains were converted into true five-star hotels on the move.

In 1883, the Orient Express carried kings and noble families on routes between Paris, Strasbourg, Vienna, and Bucharest. The train offered its passengers a little of the luxury and the refinement of a royal palace. After the Second World War, however, the standards of the famous train began to lose their distinction, and in 1977, it remained without the famous steam locomotive.

In fact, the industry of luxury trains lost ground during the 1950s, with the development of air transport. By the 70s, the concept of luxury train almost no longer has a correspondent in reality. Nevertheless, as cruise boats have returned in force in recent years, as well, luxury trains have entered a new era of popularity. Moreover, the rehabilitation of any old train has become a very profitable business in recent years.

The European Alps, the African savannah areas in Canada or Russian rocky steppes can be admired from the window of an old train, reconditioned, brought to high standards of comfort and technology (plasma screens, conference rooms, spa etc). A night spent in such a means of transport loaded with history and luxury can cost several thousand dollars. Moreover, if you have decided to make such an investment, you have to choose between a variety of landscapes, continents, and … epochs.
